Burke's Baptism

This weekend we celebrated the baptism of Burke. He was able to wear Brayden's baptismal outfit so that was nice. Afterwards, we had several family members over for lunch and cake. The weather was perfect. Attached are some pictures from Burke's big day. It was a very nice weekend. :)

Another Picture Mom?

As you can see, my children thoroughly enjoy the tons and tons of pictures I make them take :)

Things are going well here- everyone is adjusted to daycare and work and all the new schedules. Burke's been sleeping more and more- on average 8-9 hours at night, which has been great. He's also been more and more vocal and very smiley! He giggled the other day and it was so cute. He also rolled over (stomach to back) and is gaining more personality every day. I can't believe how fast the past 3 months has gone.

Brayden has been enjoying summer and loving up his little brother. He's been attending birthday parties and enjoying being a 3 year old. His favorite activities right now are riding his "four wheel-der" and going to toddler tumbling.

Overall, we're doing well. We have some exciting things planned for August- Burke's Baptism, a friend's wedding, a family get together, and of course, we'll be welcoming baby Pace to the world. I can't wait!!

12 Weeks

Well Burke is almost 12 weeks old! I returned to work this week and all went well- I spent most of my time reviewing my 1100 e-mails and getting familiar with the new building, etc. I did manage to get some work done too! Burke's first week at daycare went well- so far so good. They had an eventful Thursday however, when the kids had to seek shelter from the storms, but everyone was safe and survived the storm. I missed them like crazy, but we all did well. We're also starting to get some sleep- Burke's been sleeping 6-7 hour stretches at night, which has been very nice! He's also seemed to overcome his eating issues so that has also been great. He's eating and sleeping well and growing like a weed. This weekend we get to spend some time at a birthday party for one of Brayden's friends and we're all very excited to go- word is there will be a "super jump" there, or so Brayden says. :)

Back To Work...

Tomorrow I officially return to work. I can't believe how fast the past 11 weeks have gone...faster than I could have imagined. I have enjoyed so much the time I have had to spend with my boys. I will miss them, but I know they will have fun at daycare and I am looking forward to seeing my co-workers and our new building!

Happy Birthday Brayden!!

3 years ago, June 23, 2005, our lives changed forever when we welcomed Brayden Joseph Sickler to our family. He is such an amazing little guy and it's hard to believe that 3 years have already passed. He makes us smile and laugh on a daily basis and we are greatful for every day we get to spend as his parents. We love you B!

Zoo B-day Party

This past weekend we celebrated Brayden's 3rd b-day at the MN Zoo. He had several friends and their parents come and celebrate with him. They made a craft, played in the kids' den, ate pizza and cake and opened presents.

His friends were very generous and we all had a great time!
