5 Months

Burke turned 5 months old last week. I can't believe that he is almost a half of a year old! I can hardly even remember the days without him. He's been such an amazing gift to our family.

This weekend he mastered rolling over and now is constantly all over. I put him at one end of the room and he's across the room in no time. He's also giggling and talking all the time, and of course, EVERYTHING goes into his mouth. Brayden is still great with him and they love each other so much. Brayden makes him smile and laugh like noone else.

Still no luck yet on sleeping through the night... However, I'm confident that when I update this blog at six months I will be praising his sleeping! Well, I hope so... :)

Silly Boys

Just a few cute pictures of my silly boys...

Bemidji

This past weekend we traveled up north to Bemidji to visit Grandpa Ed. Although it rained most of the weekend, we still enjoyed our time and Brayden was able to go on the boat and do some fishing, although his fishing pole "broked". We were also able to visit Aunt Vonda, Uncle Joe and Cousin Hunter. They graciously gave Brayden his treasured "diver goggles" which you can see in one of the pics. He has to take them everywhere now. We stayed at a nice hotel on the lake and Brayden thoroughly enjoyed the indoor kiddie waterpark there as well. Aside from Burke developing an ear infection late Saturday night, which lead to a very interesting 5 hour drive home with a crabby baby, fun was had by all. :) In the end, everyone was wiped out, especially Steve and Burke, as you can see...

Summer is Over!

Well, it seems the summer is over and the colder temps are here. Before we know it, Christmas will be here. We had a great summer. We celebrated many birthdays, a baptism, and got to welcome Ben Pace to the world. We're looking forward to what the fall brings. Brayden's doing well. He loves riding his four wheeler, playing with his friends at school, playing with his brother, reading and watching Curious George and Diego. Burke is getting bigger by the minute. He's rolling over and laughing and "talking" more and more every day. Still not sleeping through the night, but we're working on that one...
